The students of the State University of Physical Education and Sport (SUPES received today, 25th of November a present from Edelweiss Foundation, a set of 25 computers that will be installed in the dorms of the university and connected to internet network.

The students of the State University of Physical Education and Sport (SUPES received today, 25th of November a present from Edelweiss Foundation, a set of 25 computers that will be installed in the dorms of the university and connected to internet network.
The Rector of the educational institution, Veaceslav Manolache, promised that the computers will be installed in the next days, and also will be connected to the internet network. “It is a beautiful gesture for the State University of Physical Education and Sport, and for the students. I thank the president of Judo Association, Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc, for this beautiful gesture. He supported the Federation of Judo in all competitions and preparing trainings.”
Businessman, Vlad Plahotniuc, was impressed by the level of endowment of the SUFES and mentioned that when he was a student himself, this kind of environment was out of any imagination. Vlad Plahotniuc confessed to the students that he was doing sports too, weightlifting, in his native place, in Nisporeni region, on the bank of Prut, and obtained the title of vice-champion of Moldova, in junior category. The businessman said that sport build in him such abilities as will, discipline, and spirit of competitiveness.
Sergiu RUSSU, Student in year III at SUFES mentioned: “We have many talented sportsmen, that need sport, and as we all know, sport is poorly supported, therefore we are grateful and highly appreciate this act of goodwill.”

Based on the press release Edelweiss Foundation implemented a series of projects to support sportsmen, including weightlifters and judo fighters.
