The Edelweiss Foundation’s Mobile Pediatric Cabinet reached the furthest point of the Floresti district – Napadova village, where professional doctors provided dozens of children with free consultations.

The little ones have also benefited from an ultrasound examination to the satisfaction of their parents.

“We found that respiratory system diseases, chronic tonsillitis, pharyngitis prevail. There are cases when children need further investigation and in that case we refer them to a hospital”, said pediatrician Olesea Nalbus, one of the specialists who consults children within the Mobile Pediatric Cabinet.

The parents were very happy that their little ones have received professional medical consultations given that the access to such medical services is rather difficult for them as they often being forced to travel long distances to the regional hospital.

The “Revive Moldova” Campaign to provide free consultations to rural children were launched in April this year at the initiative of the Edelweiss founder Vlad Plahotniuc. In the next period, pediatricians will provide consultations for children in dozens of villages on the territory of the Republic of Moldova.
