The visit to a small educational institution a few days ago resulted in a donation of a modern computer from behalf of Edelweiss Foundation to the School of Arts from Gratiesti.

There are 120 children studying at the modest School of Arts from Gratiesti. Most of them are winners of different festivals within and outside the country. They learn painting, theatre, choreography, orchestra, and play violin and flute. They are guided with much love by their teachers, some of them being famous artists. From now on, all these talented children will also be able to use a modern computer.

Edelweiss Foundation representatives were saddened to see the miserable conditions in school. Despite all that, these talented children have great performances. “We hope that Edelweiss’ donation, this modern computer with a printer and scanner will help teacher maximize their efforts in teaching process. We want them to know that they can always count on Edelweiss Foundation’s support”, said Lara Moraru, Executive Director of the charity Foundation.

Those 14 teachers of the Gratiesti School are dedicated to the profession they chose, some of them being famous artists, names like Maria Tarna, Timofei Trigubencu- the conductor of folk orchestra, Nicolae Duca- eminent personality of the Republic of Moldova.

Edelweiss Foundation will carry out a number of visits to educational institutions that are in need of support and will offer donations.
