The first computer room in the Gymnasium of Cărbuna village was inaugurated with the support of Edelweiss Foundation that donated modern computers and necessary furniture to the institution from Ialoveni.

Now, students from Cărbuna village can learn computing directly from the computers, the way it should be. Moreover, as the teachers say, the lessons are more productive now, because they do not need to teach student Pascal programing system from a blackboard or from the only computer available, which was brought from home by the teacher.

The donation made by Edelweiss is a response to the inquiry addressed to the Foundation, under the patronage of Vlad Plahotniuc, by the mayor of the Cărbuna village.

Moreover, together with the inauguration of the computer room, the student of Cărbuna village received a set of books for the school library. The donation of books is part of the campaign "Pentru Cartea Moldovei". This year only, libraries of 20 settlements around the country received books from the Foundation. In addition, during the past two years, more than 20 thousands books reached the children from Moldova.
