The Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” awarded Zinaida Vulpe as the fifth winner of “The most beloved of the teachers” competition. Zinaida Vulpe teaches physics for 36 years. She makes it with passion and manages to make children understand and love the order and logic of the laws of physics.

The teacher of Physics in the “Mihail Sadoveanu” Theoretical Lyceum is very attached to her pupils. This can be seen by the way she talks to them and looks at them, and especially by the way the pupils talk about her. “It is said that school is the second home, hence Mrs. Zinaida is the second mother for us. We wanted to show how strongly we love her and everyone, the whole country could see our appreciation for her”, say pupils of the 11th grade who encourage their peers to follow their example.

Besides the title of “The most beloved of the teachers” the Edelweiss Foundation gave the winner also a laptop.
“I’m so excited. Thank you very much, you are the best. Thanks to the Edelweiss Foundation for the care it manifests for the teachers!”, said Zinaida Vulpe with emotions.

Every month the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” awards one teacher as a winner of “The most beloved of the teachers” competition, which targets teachers of our country. By the end of the competition five more teachers will be awarded. “We expect pupils from all over the country to apply, and then we make the selection based on the movies they send, the emotions they convey through these movies”, said Lidia Cucos the Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.

To get the prize, the pupils have to make a short movie showing their gratitude to a particular teacher and along with a recommendation letter should send it to the Foundation.
