Beneficiaries, partners and friend of Edelweiss Foundation will gather together at the Edelweiss Performance Awards Gala

The charity Edelweiss Foundation will organize for the first time this Thursday, December 12th c.y., the Edelweiss Performance Awards Gala. The event aims to reward ordinary people, who through the nature of their work and dedication obtained great results and proved generosity in difficult moments.

The charity Edelweiss Foundation will organize for the first time this Thursday, December 12th c.y., the Edelweiss Performance Awards Gala. The event aims to reward ordinary people, who through the nature of their work and dedication obtained great results and proved generosity in difficult moments.

The Edelweiss Performance Awards Gala will gather at the National Theatre “Mihai Eminescu” over 400 beneficiaries of the foundation, under the patronage of Vlad Plahotniuc – children and teenagers, parents and teachers, people of culture and sport, artists and musicians.
Also, their presence at the event was confirmed by the president Nicolae Timofti, ambassadors to the Republic of Moldova, ministers and parliamentarians, personalities of the cultural life and arts, representatives of the civil society, academicians and deans, directors of orphanages and hospitals.

During the extraordinary ceremony, a number of personalities of the Republic of Moldova will offer trophies to the people who help and inspire others through their work.

The edelweiss Foundation will offer one special prize during the Gala and another five trophies with value certificates of 50,000 MDL each, for institutions that are coordinated by the laureates of the Performance Awards Gala. This way, the Foundation expresses its support to a range of projects in the fields of culture, healthcare and social involvement.

In between the moments of awarding, the stage of the National Theatre will host performances of young artists, who along the years beneficiated the support of the Edelweiss Foundation. Among them will be Chisinau Youth Orchestra, which during this summer was on a tour of classical music in the Republic of Moldova and Romania, and the Cantabile Choir, winner of a number of prizes and honor titles at regional and international competitions. One of the artistic moments will be performed by the gymnast Alexandrina Ghetoi, the Edelweiss ambassador.
The end of the show will be culminated by the performance of a well-known artist, Smiley.
