The young people who have attended the Edelweiss School of Ambassadors had a unique experience – a lesson in robotics, conducted within an IT training for their professional orientation. At the same time, the students had the opportunity of visiting the Step IT company’s headquarters.

“ I have programmed the robot to execute exactly what I intended it to. I am extremely excited and I feel just like a kid at a toy store”, said Igor Rodger, participant of the Edelweiss School of Ambassadors.

I have gained a lot of knowledge and worked in photoshop. Thanks to Edelweiss School of Ambassadors I have learnt new things in several areas. And I have decided what I’d like to do in life – I want to become a journalist”, claimed Elena Sterbet, an Edelweiss School of Ambassadors’ graduate.
The trainers have been charmed by the youth’s excitement: “ I believe that the young people have enjoyed my lessons since they showed so much enthusiasm and I’m happy they attended my lessons. We wish for them to start programming on their own because this is a great way of improving their logic skills”, said the professor of robotics Elena Fedotova.

During the week, all the Edelweiss School of Ambassadors participants had several trainings in IT to help them choose the right future career.
“The young participants have learned which are the areas of specialization, they became acquainted with the study opportunities and special training in IT. I hope some of them will build a path in IT area in the future”, claimed the coordinator of the Edelweiss School of Ambassadors Sabina Crigan.

We remind you that first this year, Vlad Plahotniuc’s Edelweiss Foundation has organized the training and offered guidance to many 9th grade students from all over the country to help them choose the right career.
