Moldova is proud with K-1 National Amateur team!

Republic of Moldova once again achieved great results at K-1 Amateur World Cup. The team of 21 sportsmen returned from Riga with 19 medals, 9 of which are gold, 5 of them silver and 5 bronze ones.

Republic of Moldova once again achieved great results at K-1 Amateur World Cup. The team of 21 sportsmen returned from Riga with 19 medals, 9 of which are gold, 5 of them silver and 5 bronze ones. The fighters were able to participate at the championship in the capital of Latvia due to the support of Edelweiss foundation, which took care of their travel arrangements.

“The fighters of the K-1 Amateur team reinforce once again that they are valuable sportsmen and fully deserve Edelweiss Foundation’s support. We congratulate them with the won medals in Riga and are proud that they proudly represent Moldova abroad.” said Lara Moraru, Executive Director of Edelweiss Foundation.

More than 300 fighters from around 16 countries participated at K-1 Amateur World Cup. Moldova national team is sponsored by Edelweiss Foundation, an organization that promotes and supports performance, including sports.
