Pleasant surprises for March 8 from the Edelweiss team
Among children’s smiles we have found Mrs. Liuba Rosca in Firladeni village, Causeni district just as she was described to us – a kind and cheerful woman whose eyes express good nature and care.

The 8th March is about courageous, good women who give unconditional love to others. Ms. Liuba meets all these qualities and even more.

At the age of 62, she works as a professional parental assistant and has raised and educated together with her husband so far 32 children. Two of them are their biological children, and the other 30 are children left without parental care but whom both spouses have raised as if they were their own. Now the couple enjoys 12 grandchildren who make their days to be more beautiful.

Out of gratitude and love, the older girls wanted to thank Mrs Liuba in a special way, so they appealed to our team. She was greatly surprised and happy seeing at the door the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.

“Even if a baby is coming, how can you tell the child that you don’t want anymore or you no longer have the power and shall we shut down all... You cannot tell that to a child, you must already wait for him to grow up, finish his education. If you took up to do something, then you need to bring it to the end”, confessed Liuba Rosca after we congratulated her for her generosity.

All her children have only words of gratitude and appreciation for the spouses who have taught them how to be good people today and who have given them the warmth of a home.

“They really were a basic pillar in my life and they were able to guide me on a correct, good way, as today to reap the benefit of what they invested, not financially but spiritually, morally”.

“They taught me to cook, they taught me to be clean and she also is a very good housewife. They taught me to embroider, to crochet, they taught me everything. I cannot even enumerate, they will always be the greatest example for me”.

In her free time she enjoys embroidering. She sews beautifully, patiently and carefully. We wanted to make a pleasant surprise on this special day, so we brought her as a gift an embroidery machine, which will henceforth help her to embroider beautiful models.

We are very pleased that the girls wrote to us and told about this magnificent family and that we were able to reward with a small gift the one who devoted her whole life to shaping children’s destinies.

“Today we had the honour to meet Mrs. Liuba, the Rosca spouses, in fact, who raised and cared for 32 children, and put imprint on the children’s destiny. We congratulate Mrs Liuba, we congratulate all mothers, all grandmothers on the occasion of March 8 and wish happiness to all women”, Lidia Cucos the Edelweiss’s Executive Director.
