More than 90 boxes with products for newborns were donated by the Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation in the first days since the “A New Life” Project was launched at the Maternity Hospital within the Institute of Mother and Child from Chisinau. The boxes with products for babies will be offered by the foundation to all the children born at the maternity hospital in Chisinau, at least till the end of the year.

Mothers received the gifts offered with excitement and delight appreciating that the box contains extremely necessary items for the babies in their first months of life. It is about disposable diapers, cotton bodysuits, special detergent for baby clothes, nasal aspirator, solutions and unguents recommended for the first months after birth, a pacifier, as well as a mattress and a blanket which can be used right inside the box. It thus becomes a comfortable baby crib.

The doctors also consider this project to be welcomed by mothers because it is a necessary assistance in the first months after the birth of the child.

This initiative of the Vlad Plahotniuc’s Foundation is inspired by the national support programs for mothers and children carried out for a long time in countries such as Finland and Canada.
