“Edelweiss” Foundation participated at the religious service that the Boian family had at their new home. The family is the victim of floods of summer of the current year in Hincesti region. Today, their new house, donated by Edelweiss Foundation, is in Micauti village, Straseni region. The Boian family was keen to assist at the religious service for blessing the house together with Nicolae Ciobanu, priest and cultural representative of Orthodox Church of Chisinau and Moldova, who carried out the service. Priest Nicolae Ciobanu made a special gift to the family and mainly a holly bible and a couple of icons.

And because the tradition says that the visit to a new house brings presents, Edelweiss Foundation offered to Boian couple several presents : “From behalf of Edelweiss Foundation and the Founder itself, I would like to wish you a lot of luck and success in your new house!-said Aneta Serbusca, Executive Director of “Edelweiss” Foundation”.

The Boian Family moved to a new home three months ago. From then, they were busy with accommodating and taking care of the household. Their efforts of building a life for their 3 kids in their own house were in vain, that is why they requested assistance from Edelweiss Foundation which responded to their needs and donated them a house in Dorel’s Boian native village.

On the day the Founder of Edelweiss, Vlad Plahotniuc, handed them the keys to the new house, Dorel mentioned : “I started to believe in the proverb: all that is being done is done for the best; God wanted us to return to the native village, in the place we grew together with the loved ones.” Now Olga and Dorel Boian, together with their 2 children, are close to having a dream household. Roman Boian, a freshman in the first grade at Micauti School, therefore the mother has plenty of time to take care of the house.
