Start of the Easter campaign – gifts and surprises for the Rusu family
Easter holidays are approaching and, traditionally, it’s time for the Edelweiss campaign to begin. We made the first stop at wonderful people whom we were incredibly happy to see again – the Rusu family.

Elena happily greeted us at the gate and said that she was looking forward to show us what new changes they had made in the house, which they received as a gift at last Christmas. We also saw her elder sisters, also joyful and optimistic.

We know how much the girls like to read, so we brought them as a gift a whole library and 200 volumes of books so that they could develop their passions.

Ionela was delighted with our surprise and promised to read all these books with great pleasure:

“I’m shocked because I’ve never seen so many books. Only in the library, but I did not think I’d have so many books at home. I really like to read fairy tales. They are more interesting and with more characters”.

We know Andreea that she is diligent and she likes to see that everything in the house is in order and clean, so we brought her a vacuum cleaner to help her in her household work.

The gifts did not end there, the Edelweiss team offered the little girls and their father products for their festive table, which included the Easter cakes and chocolate bunnies to the joy of Elena, who opened all the presents in front of us.

It was a great joy to meet them again and to see them a united and beautiful family, as we have been accustomed to.

“Coming here, we fulfilled the Edelweiss founder’s promise to arrange a personal library for Ionela. We hope we have brought a ray of warmth and hope into the heart of this family. We wish them happy holidays”, the Edelweiss Executive Director Lidia Cucos.
