“It is an extraordinary cause! I congratulate people who came with this idea and launched the project and thank them for sharing the importance of this cause with us. (…) It is a great honor for me to support your projects” mentioned Victor Ponta, Romanian Prime Minister, in the framework of his visit to the Institute of Mother and Child.

Fundraising campaign initiator, Vlad Plahotniuc, who is the founder of Edelweiss Foundation, expressed his gratitude to people who donated via his Facebook page. “We launched this fundraising campaign for the Institute of Mother and Child only 6 months ago and today we have donor from all around the country and abroad. All people who responded to our call and the ones who still do it are worth our deepest appreciation- thank you for your generous contribution! I am proud of the campaign’s success” wrote Mr. Plahotniuc.

The founder of Edelweiss Foundation was the first one to donate a substantial amount in April c.a. This donation launched the repair works at the Institute of Mother and Child. “It is important to invest here, the place that gives birth and treat thousands of babies a year. Now we build a sound foundation for future generations of the Republic of Moldova. Here Moldova is being born and reborn”, said Vlad Plahotniuc.

Revive Moldova fundraising campaign was launched in April current year in the framework of a charity concert organized by Edelweiss Foundation. So far, a number of people and personalities from the Republic of Moldova and abroad, including the President of the Republic of Moldova, Nicolae Timofti, the Speaker of Parliament, Igor Corman, business people as well, joined the campaign and contributed financially.

The campaign aims to collect the amount needed for repairs to motherhood, so mothers and children receive the necessary care in good conditions. A new phase of fundraising campaign will unfold on October 19 in a TV marathon hosted by beloved Andreea Marin at Publika TV.
