“We are happy to discover young talents like Nicoleta, assiduous and eager to learn. For five years now, Edelweiss Foundation supports young performers from the Republic of Moldova. Our support is a scholarship granted to Nicoleta, worth 20 000 lei, to help her achieve her goals and fulfill her dreams”, said Lara Moraru, Executive Director of Edelweiss Foundation.

Despite the fact that she studies in Iasi, Nicoleta is in Chisinau close to her family, which is encouraging her to pursue her music career. “Music was always a priority in our home. It is obvious that all our resources were directed towards the field that our daughter chose”, said Lilia Chetreanu, Nicoleta’s mother. Nicoleta has an elder brother who also plays the violin since the age of four.

Edelweiss Charity Foundation supports young people and students in their efforts to obtain good results, through national social campaigns, as well as by offering donations and scholarships. Vlad Plahotniuc founded edelweiss in 2010.
