The book launch of the First President of Romania, Ion Iliescu, was held in Chisinau on October 17, as a result of collaboration between Edelweiss Foundation and Editing House “Litera”.

The event took place with participation of Mr. Iliescu during his visit to Republic of Moldova and also with the participation of deputies, ministers, political analists and ambassadors to the Republic of Moldova.

Bibliographic book "Fragments of Life and Living History" launched by Mr. Iliescu in Chisinau describes the evolution of Romania's two decades after the Revolution in 1989. The book also has chapters dedicated to Romania's first international relations, including the Moldovan-Romanian relations.
