Another beneficiary of the project "Where is their home?" has received the keys of a new house

Thursday, August 19, 2010 another family of flood victims received a new house within the project "Where is their home?" which has been developed during July-August 2010 by the Edelweiss Foundation in partnership with the Prime TV channel. The Midonis have received the keys of their new house in the village of Bujor, Hincesti district.

Thursday, August 19, 2010 another family of flood victims received a new house within the project "Where is their home?" which has been developed during July-August 2010 by the Edelweiss Foundation in partnership with the Prime TV channel. The Midonis have received the keys of their new house in the village Bujor, district Hincesti.

The Midoni family consists of Valentina and Ion, 24 and their children:three-year -old Alexandra,seventeen-month-old Mihai. They had lived in the village Sarateni until the flood. It is a young and hard- working family. Ion Midoni has a seasonal work in Russia, and Valentina takes care of the children.The had made every effort to organize their household and work on the land share that had been given as a gift by the parents at the wedding.They remained on the road after the flood, the house they had lived ,their household and the farmland stayed under the water ,and and they were left without the roof over the heads.

They have built a temporary shelter in a damaged house in the village Sarateni, waiting for assistance. This aid came from the Edelweiss Foundation. Today the Midonis have received the keys of their new house. The house is located in the the village Bujor, and has a large yard, a garden,a well and everything necessary to move in immediately.

"I could not believe that something like this is possible, and there are people with souls who help us and have given us this magnificent house, and a new beginning. It was when we had no hope and did not know where we could be tomorrow," Valentina said.
"We will be proud of this gift and will be taking care of the house and the household .Thank you for regaining the hope and confidence," Ion Midoni related to the Edelweiss team.
