600 mothers from Edinet supported by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”
17 November 2017Today, at the maternity department in Edinet District Hospital other 8 newly-minted mothers received as a gift boxes with items necessary to take care of babies from the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
Today, at the maternity department in Edinet District Hospital other 8 newly-minted mothers received as a gift boxes with items necessary to take care of babies from the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
Being excited the young mothers say they did not expect such a gesture, but the items will serve them for a long period of time.
“I would like to thank the Edelweiss team which made this pleasant gift.” said the young mother Irina Gheras from Fetesti village, Edinet district.
“Thank to the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc for the gifts, they will be very useful to us.”, the Gribincea family also confessed.
Up to now, 600 young families from Edinet have received as a gift a set of products for taking care of babies under “A New Life” campaign. The gift box contains disposable diapers, cotton bodysuits, cosmetics and medical products, a mattress and many other extremely useful things for the little ones. “The Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” is always there for people through the projects implemented. Under “A New Life” project we have already distributed over 10,000 boxes”, the project manager Dorina Postu said.
The maternity department personnel also consider that this project is an important aid to mothers. “We welcome in our hospital such a project. Since it was launched hundreds of mothers have enjoyed these boxes of products for their children. Thanks to Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc!”, medical assistant at the Edinet hospital Margarita Goncear said.
Under “A New Life” social campaign initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” in 2016 there have been distributed 10,056 thousands of boxes in four maternity departments in the country: the Institute of Mother and Child from Chisinau and the district hospitals from Nisporeni, Cahul and Edinet.
