Just two months after “A New Life” social project was launched more than 700 boxes with products for newborns were offered at the Maternity Hospital within the Institute of Mother and Child from Chisinau. The assistance is provided by the Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation to each mother who gives birth at the Institute of Mother and Child.

“You brought me an enormous joy; all these things necessary to my baby are just welcome in our family. Especially since they are quite expensive”, said one of the mothers who received the gift offered by the “Edelweiss” Foundation. 

“A New Life” social project is inspired by the national support programs for mothers and children carried out for a long time in countries such as Finland and Canada. This is just one of the campaigns carried out this year by Vlad Plahotniuc’s Foundation to support mothers and children.

Simultaneously, the Foundation carries out an information campaign against domestic violence and provides free consultations for rural children within the Mobile paediatric cabinet “Revive Moldova”. At the same time in several tows of the country secured playgrounds for children are installed within the “Edelweiss Parks” campaign.
