A great joy brought the autumn to the children from Borogani village in Leova district. The first playground was inaugurated here with multicoloured slides and swings, which the village never had before. The place was arranged by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” in desire to give the little ones the opportunity to enjoy childhood to its full extent.
 
“The local youth council came up with the idea to appeal to the Foundation of Mr. Plahotniuc. And so they helped us and today we enjoy this playground”, said the Mayor of the Borogani village Elena Savitchi.
 
The inauguration was the occasion for a real feast among the children from the village. The Edelweiss team came with sweets and candies for each of the happy kids.
 
“I feel really good and it’s a pleasure to have this park. Thanks to the Edelweiss Foundation for everything”.
 
The joy of the parents was not inferior to that of the children. They say it is wonderful that such an area exists right in the village, and children will be able to play safely here.
 
“When I gave birth I received a package from the Foundation. I was deeply grateful for that gift. And now we are happy as well about the park that was built in our village and about all the beautiful things they do”, said one of the mothers.
 
Setting up playgrounds for little kids has become already a traditional action for the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc. Today, thousands of children enjoy the areas that the Edelweiss Foundation built during the time. 
 
“The kids, the parents, the grandparents deserve to have a place where to spend their free time. And this time the Foundation of Vlad Plahotnic “Edelweiss” has contributed to installation of a playing area for children from Borogani village. We are always glad that we can beautify the localities here, at home, in Moldova. We found here lively, joyful children. They inspire us and motivate us to do the same wonderful things in the future”, said the Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” Lidia Cucos.
