Edelweiss Foundation offered a helping hand to 20 children and their parents, members of Association of blind people of Moldova. School children received school supplies so that are well equipped to start the new school year. The younger ones received toys and development games.

Edelweiss Foundation offered a helping hand to 20 children and their parents, members of Association of blind people of Moldova. School children received school supplies so that are well equipped to start the new school year. The younger ones received toys and development games.

“Thank you very much for taking good care of us”, was a simple but hearty message delivered by Angela Cranium from Criuleni, mother of four children. Angela is the mother of a baby, an infant going to kindergarten and 2 school children. Angela’s husband being blind, they are all members of the Association of Blind people of Moldova.

“The beginning of a new school year is a reason to be worried about for many people. The members of the Association had hard times saving money to be able to buy all the necessary school supplies. We felt our help will be much appreciated and needed, especially now, at the beginning of the school year, when the expenses are very high. We are deeply touched by the thank you messages we receive, and happy to see the sparkle in the children’s eyes and gratitude of their parents”, said Edelweiss Representatives.

Edelweiss Foundation supports social-vulnerable families from the Republic of Moldova, through social campaigns at national level, scholarships and donations. Edelweiss Foundation was founded in 2010, by Vlad Plahotniuc.
