Naturally, the happiest about the new playground were the children, who had waited expectantly to climb everywhere. “I like this slide and to spin around. It’s very cool and I want to stay in it every day”, shared his first impressions a little boy. “I like it because it’s colourful”, added a girl.
The children’s parents and grandparents who came at the inauguration were pleased with this gift offered by the Foundation. “We welcome this gift and we want to thank Mr. Plahotniuc on behalf of the grandparents and parents. In turn, we will do our best to keep it in order and respond with kindness to everything you have done”, said a grandmother who came with her grandchild.
“Indeed it was a tremendous surprise. It is a very special and well equipped playground. We did not expect that adults would have possibilities to practice sports here. We are very pleased that Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc is taking care of the children of Nisporeni and I think from other several areas”, said a mother. Feelings of joy were shared by all those who came to attend the opening of the playground, and another mother thanked the Foundation for “making the children from Nisporeni to smile”.
The Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” Lidia Cucos talked about the Foundation’s commitment to help children and the local community of the town. She mentioned that this project aims at modernization of the locality: “Today we are inaugurating a playground and an outdoor fitness area promised by the Edelweiss founder Vlad Plahotniuc to the Nisporeni citizens. It is the way we want to contribute to the beautification of this town. The children deserve the most beautiful, the best things in the world. They deserve to enjoy and play in modern and safe conditions”.
