The most talented children of the Art School “Maria Biesu” (town Stefan Voda) received a set of musical instruments worth 41,000 lei. The EDELWEISS Foundation representatives gave the gift to the children on the first day of school. The moment they received the musical instruments, young talents organized a small concert for the EDELWEISS Foundation representatives and their teachers.
"Moldova is famous for its musical talents who have conquered the world participating in hundreds of concerts and international festivals. With the help of this gift we want to support these young talents, who want very much to become celebrities in the world of art." said Lara Castravet, Project Coordinator for the Edelweiss Foundation, at the meeting with talented children and their teachers.
The director of the “Maria Biesu" Art School Ludmila Ruscanovschi said that "the set of musical instruments is a gift not only very nice and useful, but long-awaited as well. We can be proud of talented children of the art school, but we desired for the better musical instruments. Now we have not only what to do homework with, but also to participate in various music contests and festivals”.
