Campaign "Mobile Pediatric Cabinet", 2017 edition, has reached the village of Capriana, Straseni district. Here, the children from the locality have been examined for free by doctors of mobile pediatric cabinet, and some of them have received medical consultations for the first time since their birth.

The parents from Capriana were grateful that their children have benefited from these free of charge consultations. "This action is very welcomed, especially in the villages, where not everyone  has the opportunity to go to town to pass all the consultations," said the mother of one of the children who was consulted for free by the doctors.

"Children suffer a lot from digestive problems , first of all, parasitoses, we have cases even with pediculosis and itches. Not to mention the problems with the low immunity. This is a result of malnutrition thus the hygiene suffers a lot,said Cristina Burlaca, pediatrician.
In total, in the project "Mobile Pediatric Cabinet II" are involved 19 doctors nutritionist and 20 specialists in ultrasound,who  in addition to the medical investigations, give advice to mothers how to take care of their chilren.

The campaign ‘’Mobile Pediatric Cabinet II" was initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc "Edelweiss" in April, as a continuation of the project with the same name proceeded in 2016. This campaign is carried out by the Edelwesis in partnership with the Ministry of Health. Until autumn the children will be consulted for free from other tens of localities from the Republic of Moldova.

In the following period, the mobile pediatric cabinet will stop in the districts of Straseni, Leova, Riscani, Glodeni and Anenii Noi .The full schedule is continuously updated and is available on the website of Edelweiss Foundation - www.edelweiss.md.
