Since the holidays a more beautiful in the family circle, the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” initiates the Easter Campaign to provide food products and other necessities for daily living of families in need.

The first beneficiaries of the aid provided by Edelweiss under this campaign were members of the beautiful and large Marcenco family from Firladenii Noi village, Causeni district.

The mother of those five children of Marcenco family is a housewife, and the father works from dawn to give them all the necessary. It is not easy at all to hem to cope with the situation since the family needs are great in number. The greater has been their joy when they found out that they had received as a gift from Edelweiss a new gas-stove and a basket full of products for the Easter meal.

“This is an unexpected and very necessary aid for our family. You brought light and joy in our house and our hearts and we thank you for that. It seems that still there are people who want to help, we thank the Edelweiss founder – Vlad Plahotniuc”, said Diana Marcenco.
Today also the team of the Edelweiss Foundation visited the Sirbu family from the Zaim village. Liudmila Sirbu is a pensioner, but this fact did not prevent her to adopt two girls, whom she brings up and educates by herself. The Sirbu family lives in an unpretending way, and Liudmila Sirbu recognizes that she hardly copes with the daily expenses.

The books and sweets brought by Edelweiss were received with great joy by the two daughters of the Sirbu family – Adelina and Alexandrina. The washing machine brought by the foundation will also be of great help for them. Liudmila Sirbu thanked for this gift and expressed gratitude for the gesture made by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
