The “Mobile Paediatric Cabinet 2017” campaign initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” have visited more than 170 localities of the Republic of Moldova
27 July 2017Today dozens of children from Borozenii Noi village in Riscani district enjoyed the advice of paediatricians and ultrasonographers following free medical consultations offered within the “Mobile Paediatric Cabinet 2017” national campaign.

Today dozens of children from Borozenii Noi village in Riscani district enjoyed the advice of paediatricians and ultrasonographers following free medical consultations offered within the “Mobile Paediatric Cabinet 2017” national campaign. This action is initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” and is part of a series of projects dedicated to children’ and young families’ healthcare.
The little ones along with their parents and grandparents waited patiently to visit the paediatricians and ultrasonographers, who came to the village equipped with modern medical equipment. Besides the advice received from the team of doctors, the little ones also received an Edelweiss bear.
“It’s team of professionals, we are very glad that you have arrived in our village and provided these medical consultations to our children”, a mother of the one of the consulted children said.
From April till now during the second tour of the “Mobile Paediatric Cabinet 2017” campaign the doctors have visited 174 villages of the Republic of Moldova where there is no healthcare facility.
“Nearly 4 months after the campaign was launched, we have over 10,000 children consulted. We consider it to be a great achievement. We continue to invest in children’s health, because children are the future of this country”, the Executive Director of the Edelweiss Foundation Lidia Cucos declared.
The “Mobile Paediatric Cabinet 2017” campaign was initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” in April this year, as a continuation of the project with the same name implemented in 2016. This campaign is carried out by the Edelweiss in partnership with the Ministry of Health, and children from other dozens of Moldovan villages will be consulted free of charge by autumn.
