The representatives of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” and Santa Claus were the surprise guests who brought gifts and high spirits to the house of the Postolache family. Thus, the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” opened the winter holiday season by giving start to the “House full of Christmas” Campaign, by which it brings joy to the less fortunate families.

The 9-year-old Patricia and her 3-year-old brother Razvan enjoyed the gifts, sweets and TV set as well as the Christmas tree brought by Edelweiss, which they dressed already with the Santa. The little ones thanked the Foundation for the gifts with poems and carols.
“I asked a hat and a jacket for my mom, a pair of gloves for my dad, and a little car for Razvan. And I asked some books for me.”, Patricia said.

It was the first time this family received so many holiday gifts, and the visit of the Edelweiss representatives and Santa Claus has made the surprise even more excited.
“I really got lost, I was at work and they were asking me something, and I did not even know what to answer. Then I came to myself and we talked, but still I couldn’t believe that, here, Santa Claus will come to us.”, Patricia’s and Razvan’s mother Ecaterina Postolache said.

Patricia wrote an emotional letter to the Edelweiss Foundation, in which she shared her greatest desire – the whole family to be happy for the holidays.
“Patricia wrote to the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss". Santa was with us and helped usto  fulfill her dream. Today we came to her and brought everything she asked for the Santa”, the Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” Lidia Cucos said.

The “House full of Christmas” Campaign initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc Edelweiss aims to bring the Christmas joy to the homes of needy families. It is the seventh consecutive year in which the Foundation fulfils before the Christmas Holidays the wishes of dozens of needy children in the Republic of Moldova.
