Talented instrumentalists from Chisinau Youth Orchestra joined the “Revive Moldova” fundraising campaign, which aims at renovating the Institute of Mother and Child. The announcement was made in the framework of the first summer performance of Chisinau Youth Orchestra, which took place on July 13 in Chisinau.

“It is a very special night; it is the night when young talented instrumentalists of Chisinau Youth orchestra perform not only because of their love for music and show, but also for a noble cause! Our concert is dedicated to mothers and babies from the Institute of Mother and Child, for better conditions in the maternity, for a beautiful start, for a new life. Chisinau Youth Orchestra joins the REVIVE MOLDOVA campaign!”, said Adriano Marian, the founder of the orchestra at the beginning of the show.

In the course of two hours, the audience listened to string music played at violin, contrabass, viola, music signed by Felix Mendelssohn, Astor Piazzolla, Dmitri Shostakovich and Piotr Ceaikovski. The concert was conducted by Gabriel Bebeshelea from Romania, and the soloists were Alexandra Tirsu from Moldova who studies in Wien and Dan- Iulian Drutac , who pursuits his education in London. All 35 instrumentalists enchanted the audience and were encored 4 times.

Doctors and medical staff from the Institute of Mother and Child, the protagonists of Revive Moldova campaign for the modernization of their institution, also attended the event.
