A grandiose concert took place in Nisporeni organized by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”

More than 10 thousand people gathered from all over the country had danced and had fun in the centre of Nisporeni town, where an unprecedented concert took place. On the stage performed “3 Sud–Est”, “Carla’s Dreams”, Antonia, Adriana Ochisanu, as well as “Lume” and “Akord” bands, which sang the songs that made them famous and the fans sang them by heart.

More than 10 thousand people gathered from all over the country had danced and had fun in the centre of Nisporeni town, where an unprecedented concert took place. On the stage performed “3 Sud–Est”, “Carla’s Dreams”, Antonia, Adriana Ochisanu, as well as “Lume” and “Akord” bands, which sang the songs that made them famous and the fans sang them by heart. “We have long been waiting for Antonia, “Carla's Dreams” and “3 Sud-Est”. I was very excited to hear that these artists will come to sing and to sing in our town”, said one of the visitors of the event.

Those little ones as well have had a great fun. A skating-rink, a merry-go-round and two slides were set for them which they could enjoy in plenty, all the costs being covered by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”. “I feel really good, I really like to be here. I have long wanted to learn how to skate”, said one of the children.

The event organized by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” was also attended by several state officials who came with a congratulatory message for the citizens of Nisporeni: “I am delighted and pleased to be here today at this beautiful event together with you. Today is the long-awaited holiday, when we celebrate Saint Vasile and the Old New Year. I wish this good and optimistic mood would accompany you throughout the year.”, said the Prime Minister Pavel Filip.

“I am also grateful to the president Vlad Plahotniuc, the founder of Edelweiss for his many support actions for culture, including activities dedicated to the preservation of our cultural heritage.”, said the Minister of Education, Culture and Research Monica Babuc.

People who came to the “Winter Fair” held in the central part of the Nisporeni town have enjoyed the celebration of the Old New Year and impressive fireworks, as well the food and drinks provided by the organizers and have warmed up with hot mulled wine. The “Winter Fair” in Nisporeni remains open until the end of this month.
