Shortly before the New Year the Edelweiss team made a surprise to the children in the Placement Centre “Rainbow of Hope” from Vadul-lui-Voda town.
Those 20 children of the Centre from socially vulnerable families enjoyed very much the meeting with the Edelweiss representatives, especially as they were accompanied by Santa Claus.

This visit continues the series of beautiful actions at holiday initiated by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” within the “House Full of Christmas” social project.

The children waited for Santa Claus all year long, so they put all their enthusiasm to impress him with carols and poems they had learned. And in the end, Santa Claus could not do without a reward, giving each of them a present from his bag.
“Santa came to us and when I opened the gifts I was very glad he brought me a nice pajama and many candies. I will always remember the Santa who brought me these gifts.”, said one of the children.

Through these actions the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” offers joy during the winter holidays to children without financial opportunities.
“You were extraordinarily nice this year. If you will act the same way in the next year Santa Claus will visit the Edelweiss Foundation again loaded with gifts, and thus we will come to you again. To see such beautiful, smart and talented children as you are we will come for sure.”, said Lidia Cucos the Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.

Every year in December the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” carries out the “House Full of Christmas” social campaign meant for socially vulnerable families and community centres. More than 250 children received Christmas gifts and many other surprises from the Foundation during this campaign.
