Children from Rădeni, Călăraşi district, have benefited from free medical consultations offered within the "Revive Moldova" campaign, launched by Vlad Plahotniuc's "Edelweiss" Foundation.

After the special medical unit has conducted the examinations, cardiovascular diseases, tooth decay and birth detects have been detected in children.

Mothers from Rădeni were very pleased  about the free consultations offered by the mobile pediatric unit, especially because childrenalso benefited from ultrasound examination.
"Often we don’t have enough money and this is why we fail to visit the doctor with the children. Last time I checked our two children with heart ultrasound, I spent 800 lei. Thank you very much for this beautiful gesture," said Aliona Jeverdan, mother of two children who have been consulted free of charge by the doctors.

"Revive Moldova" campaign, within which children are offered free consultations in several villages of Moldova, was launched in April this year at the initiative of Vlad Plahotniuc, founder of Edelweiss. So far, the mobile pediatric units have visited over 70 localities in several districts of the country.
