Edelweiss Foundation awarded the best K 1 Amateur fighters of 2012. The award ceremony took place in the framework of the IX-th edition of “Fighting Eagles” K1, organized by FEA Association of Moldova.

Edelweiss Foundation awarded the best K 1 Amateur fighters of 2012. The award ceremony took place in the framework of the IX-th edition of “Fighting Eagles” K1, organized by FEA Association of Moldova. The winners were: Vlad Para at adult category of 86 kg, and Victor Curtis, junior category, 51kg.

“I am happy that Edelweiss Foundation had confidence in me, and today, in the framework of this tournament I proved that I can bring more medals to the country of Moldova”, mentioned Victor Curtis, the winner of the “The best K1 Amateur fighter” of Moldova award.

At”Fighting Eagles” tournament, organized this weekend, the Moldovan fighters defeated the European sportsmen. Our sportsmen won 11 out of 13 fights, one of which was Victor Curtis, Edelweiss’ prize winner. P. Pocatilov brought the surprise of the event by winning over the Lithuanian P. Suhlov in the very first round.

Edelweiss Foundation constantly supports the K1 team of Moldova in the framework of the foundation’s campaign for promoting and sustaining performance.
