Submission of documents within the “Scholarships for 100 young people” competition is in its final stage

The young people’s interest in this competition through which the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” aims to stimulate the meritorious pupils from our country proved to be a great one.
Competition through which 100 lyceum students of the twelfth grade will receive monthly scholarships in the amount of 500 lei is in its final stage. The young people’s interest in this competition through which the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” aims to stimulate the meritorious pupils from our country proved to be a great one. So far, young people from throughout the Republic of Moldova have joined the competition organised by Edelweiss. The Foundation representatives encourage all those who have not signed up by now to do so in the coming days.
“Despite the holiday period we have a lot of applicants and it’s good that they are enterprising young people, creative young people showing good results at school, they are young people who want to change something. We encourage all those who have not yet applied, to do so in the coming days. And we promise we’ll select the best of them”, the Executive Director of the Edelweiss Foundation Lidia Cucos said.
To join this competition young high school students of grade XII should submit a set of documents containing a curriculum vitae, copies of diplomas and certificates demonstrating the participation in high school competitions and Olympiads over the last two years of study, average grades for the past two years, and an essay titled “I am the future of my country”.
The documents are accepted by August 6 and the winners will be announced on September 1, 2017. Each of those 100 winners will receive from the Edelweiss Foundation a monthly scholarship amounting 500 lei during 9 months from September 2017 until May 2018. The entire budget allocated for this project amounts 450,000 lei.
