Protected families: real support for the victims of violence in family

In the framework of the campaign "Protected families", the Foundation was involved for combating and preventing the cases of violence in the family, but also for the support of those who need help.

From August and until now, in the framework of the Offices of psychological counseling and legal services opened with the help of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc "Edelweiss" in Drochia, Hancesti and Cahul have been granted for free 325 sessions of psychological counseling and 194 session on the legal advice.
At the same time, the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc "Edelweiss" granted financial support for the maintenance of the victims located in the Multifunctional Center ''Helmult Wolf". In this respect, the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc "Edelweiss" organized at the end of last year, a charitable concert at which have been collected almost 300,000 MDL.
Also, the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc "Edelweiss" helped a worldwide campaign at the national level for the promotion of the green line 0800 10 881. Here the victims of violence in the family are scheduled at meetings of psychological and legal counseling for free, confidential and anonymous.
In addition, the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc "Edelweiss" organized an informational in which have been involved over 1000 volunteers from all over the country, but also many solidarity actions with the victims of violence in the family. Among them are worth mentioning the "Coloring the world in purple", "Flowers of solidarity", "Street Lights" and "National Contest of painting for pupils from Protected families".
Throughout the duration of the campaign, in order to inform about the ways in which the violence can be combated, but also to raise awareness among the population with regard to this phenomenon, in the whole country have been placed informative materials but television stations had the greatest impact on spectators, were broadcasted four social spots.
