Vlad Plahotniuc awarded today the first winner of the contest organized by Edelweiss Foundation and entitled “The most beloved of the teachers”. The Founder of the foundation visited on the Teachers Day the Theoretical High School “Traian” from Chisinau, where several pupils of the 9th grade have chosen their form mistress Olesea Dani as most beloved teacher.

At the awarding moment, which was a surprise Vlad Plahotniuc presented a laptop and collectible books, and also delivered a message of congratulation to the winner. “I want to congratulate you for the passion you have for your profession. It seems that the way you teach these pupils made them to be passionate and really in love with what you teach them”, the Edelweiss founder said.

Being very excited and with tears in eyes, the one who trained hundreds of English and French language speakers and who guided the pupils for 12 years was very much impressed by this unique moment. “Thank you for the title of “the most beloved teacher”, you are the best. It was a guaranteed, one hundred percent surprise. How they made it in secret, little dodgers”, Olesea Dani said.

But the most excited were the pupils. “My mother is abroad. Mrs. Dani is like a second mother to me”, Andreea Codita said, pupil of the 9th grade.
The Edelweiss Foundation congratulated the entire teaching staff of the high school and announced a donation of 250,000 lei to be used for the development of the educational institution.

We remind that on September 5, 2017 the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” launched “The most beloved of the teachers” competition for teachers in our country. In the coming months, nine more winners working in high schools and gymnasiums of the Republic of Moldova will be awarded.
