Irina Vutcariov brought in the past days the family’s second child to the world. She says she lives this experience with great joy. She had an easy delivery, and the gift she received from the foundation would greatly help her in caring for the girl.
“I did not even realize that I gave birth, she wanted very quickly to appear and see her mom and dad. Thank you very much for coming to us because people in rural areas need much help and diapers are the most needed these days”, says the young mother.
Moisei family waited impatiently for their first child. Young people say that they very much wanted to feel what it means to be a parent.
“These gifts are necessary indeed because every family needs a start, so to say. Thank you very much, we have not yet provided ourselves with many things and they are really very necessary”.
Adriana Negruta gave birth to her third child, another sister for her daughters who are waiting at home. She knew about the project from the internet and TV and knew even about the products contained in the box. When she found out that “A New Life” project comes to Ialoveni she also wanted to receive a gift box for her youngest daughter.
“I am very glad to receive these gifts from Vlad Plahotniuc, and we hope that our future, our children, our generation will become as prosperous as possible. The nasal aspirator is a very necessary thing, we have not yet bought it. I said that I’ll see if I get it, so be it, if not, then I would go to the pharmacy and buy it”.
“A New Life” Edelweiss Campaign was launched in 2016 at the Institute of Mother and Child in Chisinau, and since March 21, 2018 it is being implemented in 24 maternity wards of the country.
“We managed to implement “A New Life” Campaign in Ialoveni as well. It is an extraordinary feeling for us to meet so many moms in the happiest moment of their life and be able to make a small surprise in addition to their immense joy brought by a newborn child. From now on, we are telling “Welcome to this world!” to the babies from Ialoveni as well”, said Lidia Cucos the Executive Director of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
132 children were born at the maternity ward in Ialoveni from the beginning of the year. The manager of the institution is very glad that from now on new mothers can receive gifts in their maternity ward as well.
“We were waiting for our turn. It is very gratifying that this beautiful gesture the Edelweiss Foundation does for young mothers is also implemented at the maternity ward in Ialoveni district. It is yet another example of the care the Foundation and Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc demonstrate for the community”, said Mihail Cotovan Head of the Ialoveni District Hospital.
So far, 12.400 gift boxes for newborns were distributed within “A New Life” Campaign implemented by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
