Edelweiss Foundation saved a child with heart deficiency
22 November 2010Edelweiss Foundation made a donation of 7000 USD to Cardio Centre named after “N. Bakuev” from Moscow for a surgery to a small girl born with severe heart deficiency. Noemi Ursan was born in Ruseni village, Edinet region, has the valves crossed and there is oxygen deficiency in the blood.
Edelweiss Foundation made a donation of 7000 USD to Cardio Centre named after “N. Bakuev” from Moscow for a surgery to a small girl born with severe heart deficiency. Noemi Ursan was born in Ruseni village, Edinet region, has the valves crossed and there is oxygen deficiency in the blood. The girl is in desperate need of a heart protease. In the period of several months, the child was exposed to medical investigations that showed that a surgery is inevitable.
The Founder of Edelweiss Foundation,VladPlahotniuc, met with the girls’ mother and her grandfather and handed them the necessary amount for the surgery, wishing them luck and his hope that the intervention is a success and Naomi will soon enough get back to her day-by-day life next to her family.
Valeria Ursan, Noeni’s mother: “We would like to thank Edelweiss Foundation for the support and care. The life of my child depends on this donation. We are extremely happy that we received this helping hand and we hope that we will succeed in what we planned to achieve. The first surgery that made possible the access of 70 % of oxygen to the blood was made due to the family and friends’ assistance. Now we can win the battle with the disease. ”
Andrei Bodarev, Noemi’s grandfather: “I wanted grandchildren desperately. I love my granddaughter so much. There are no words to express my gratitude to this Foundation that helps Noemi get better. Our greatest wish is that she canbe as all other kids.”
