Rehearsals for the Classic Music Tour supported by Edelweiss have started
14 August 2013Young instrumentalists from “Chisinau Youth Orchestra” gathered in a camp in Vadul lui Voda resort for a period of two weeks for rehearsals in anticipation of the Music Tour to be held in Moldova and Romania.
Young instrumentalists from “Chisinau Youth Orchestra” gathered in a camp in Vadul lui Voda resort for a period of two weeks for rehearsals in anticipation of the Music Tour to be held in Moldova and Romania.
The first performance of the orchestra in the framework of Classic Music Tour will take place on Saturday, August 17th in the square of the Chisinau cathedral. From that day on, the young instrumentalists will perform in Chisinau and Bucharest. The violinist Ilian Garnet and the pianist Livia Stirbu are special guests of this edition. Chisinau Youth orchestra band consists of 70 young musicians from Ukraine, Germany, and Spain, thoroughly selected by a professional jury.
The Classic Music Tour is a transnational cultural project consisting of a series of classic music concerts on the stages of Moldova and Romania. Edelweiss Foundation supports this project which incorporates the foundation’s goal of promoting culture and valuable young talents.
