Six golden medals, seven silver, and eight bronze medals. In total, 21 medals and the third place in team competitions – results obtained by the national team of the K1 Federation for Amateurs, at the K1 Republican Championship which took place on October 2-4 in Vilnius.

“Next year we will come home with gold”, declared the athletes, happy about the results and determined to win many more competitions for the Republic of Moldova.

“I am satisfied about my results, which I achieved together with my coach. I thank everyone who supports me. I exercise a lot and work hard to confront the K1 fighters that are my adversaries on the ring”, declared Ion Ungureanu, one of the six K1 athletes from the national team of the Republic of Moldova, to win the gold at the competitions in Vilnius.
