The series of holiday performances, organized by Edelweiss and Chişinău Youth Orchestra concluded with an Archaic-Rococo concert, held for the first time in our country.
The concert was held by the young musicians from Chişinău Youth Orchestra, who embodied the “archaic” traditions of Christmas carols, conducted by directors Dan Turcan and Gabriel Bebeselea. The elements of “rococo” of the concert were played in the court music written by Wilhelm Friedemann Bach and Carl Philipp, performed by the flautist Matei Ioachimescu.
This is the third performance organized by Edelweiss together with Chişinău Youth Orchestra with the occasion of winter holidays. During 2015, the charity foundation supported the organization of several major cultural events, including the International Festival of opera and ballet Maria Biesu, and offered scholarships in music and arts for young talents.
