The “Paediatric Cabinet” today reached Ulmu village, Ialoveni district. “Revive Moldova/Paediatric Cabinet” Campaign under which free consultations are provided to children from Moldovan villages was launched in April this year at the initiative of Vlad Plahotniuc, the Edelweiss founder.
In this context, the doctors carefully offered free examinations and left recommendations to parents, especially as the season of virus diseases begins.
“Cold season is coming and most children show signs of viral infections, signs of respiratory infections that now require special attention. Most diseases occur in children because of mothers’ ignorance”, said paediatrician Maria Mihalache.
Parents took advantage of the doctors’ visit in their community and have brought their children to control, which after free and quality consultations were pampered with balloons.
“The idea is very good, especially because it is meant for our children. I left all my everyday worries and came to check my child”, said one of the residents of Ulmu village.
Since the “Revive Moldova” Campaign was launched 6.000 children were examined from over 80 localities of the country. The project is part of the campaigns supported by Vlad Plahotniuc’s Foundation to support families, young mothers and children from Moldova and is organised in partnership with the Ministry of Health.
