Edelweiss Foundation continues to make children happy and bring the winter holiday spirit. After organizing a festive event for the children in the Oncologic Institute, Edelweiss Foundation also organized an event for 119 disadvantaged children from Boarding School number 7 from Chisinau.

Santa Claus paid a visit to the children and brought toys as presents to everyone. Children thoroughly prepared for the event and learned poems and songs for Santa.

“One smile, one glance from the people around them, make these children healthier, feel better, feel safe”, mentioned Victoria Stempliuc, the manager of the Boarding School nr.7.

The event gathered some of the parents as well who asked Santa to bring them health and joy for their children.
Nicole Stanesse, Edelweiss Ambassador, mentioned: “It is important that every child, regardless of his social status and of the place they study, have the chance to enjoy and feel Christmas spirit.”

Edelweiss Foundation organizes and carries out social events for children of the Boarding School nr. 7 for many years now. Last year, due to Edelweiss Foundation’s support, children had the chance to visit city cultural events, including the “Nutcracker” ballet for children.
In the midst of winter holidays, Edelweiss Foundation will organize a number of events which aim at bringing the holiday joy in the homes and hearts of the socially vulnerable families, disadvantaged children and elderly people.
