
The parents, children and medical staff of the pediatric oncology-hematology section of the Cancer Hospital enjoyed a special celebration offered by the Edelweiss Foundation. The “Children without Leukemia” Non-Governmental Organization addressed a request for assistance to the Board of the Foundation and a as a result, the children participated in an amazing event with Santa Claus, Snow White, toys, sweets and lots of fun.
IRINA ROTARI, “Children without Leukemia” NGO: “We addressed requests to several charity organizations and Edelweiss was the first one to respond and react, they have organized an extraordinary celebration with presents, Santa Claus, an event much appreciated by the children”.
The children suffering from leukemia prepared themselves for the event by learning poems for Santa Claus: “Santa Claus with long white beard, fill my sack with yummy sweets, but don’t forget about other children”, who thanked them with sweets and presents.
For a lot of children from the oncology-hematology section of the Cancer Hospital this will be the first Christmas away from home. Thus, the Edelweiss Foundation intended to bring light and smiles on the faces of the young children who are deprived of the Chri
stmas joy.
