CERI international Organization and Edelweiss Foundation continue donating winter shoes to children from orphanages and boarding schools of the Republic of Moldova. Over thirty institutions have been visited already, while the holiday tour will carry on until the volunteers will reach all districts of the Republic of Moldova.

Recently, the gifts reached the young ones from the boarding school for children with severe eyesight deficiency. CERI and Edelweiss Foundation representatives were deeply impressed with the stories told by children, together with their happiness when receiving their presents and winter shoes.

The tour of CERI international organization and Edelweiss Foundation will visit over 60 institutions and the volunteers will distribute winter shoes with the total value of 180 thousand dollars. For over thirteen years CERI Foundation donates winter shoes to children, and this year this action was made in collaboration with a local partner- Edelweiss Foundation. Similar projects were developed by CERI in a number of states in Africa, Latin America and Europe.

In Moldova, the partnership between the two foundations foresees the donation of winter shoes to 7300 institutionalized children.
