Award of Excellence of the UNITEM Gala Ceremony was conferred by the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc

Celebrating the World Theater Day the National Theatre “Mihai Eminescu” from Chisinau hosted the 2017 edition of the UNITEM Gala Ceremony – the most important theatrical event at national level.
The President of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” Lara Moraru congratulated all the winners of this edition of the UNITEM Gala Ceremony and handed the Award of Excellence to Viorica Chirca, cinema and theatre actress.
The amount of the award is 12.000 lei and it represents a modest token of appreciation for one of our greatest actress, which is remembered by many generations of the playgoers.
The UNITEM Gala Ceremony nominated the best actors and best performances of 2017. The performance “Casa Mare” by Ion Druta, directed by Sandu Cozub, from the National Theatre “Mihai Eminescu” won the Ceremony award for best dramatic performance, and the award for the best director’s work was granted to Sandu Cozub, for the same performance.
