New books on the shelves of Pitusca village library

I congratulate you on your ability to raise not only these people’s cultural level but build their character as well.” This is the message that Vlad Plahotniuc, the founder of Edelweiss Foundation, delivered to the teachers of Pitusca lyceum (Calarasi region), a message of encouragement and inspiration on the Graduates’ Day.
Teachers and pupils of the local Lyceum received a donation of books from the personal collection of Vlad Plahotniuc, as well as school books. “Some of my colleagues and employees have graduated this school, people that I highly appreciate for what they’ve become and achieve.” I am certain that you, teachers and professors, contributed greatly to their success. (…) I hope that these schoolbooks will be useful to pupils of your school, alike hundred of other young people from villages of Moldova, beneficiaries of Edelweiss’ Foundation cultural campaign”, mentioned Vlad Plahotniuc, the founder of Edelweiss in his message.
It is an annual tradition that the graduates of schools and lyceums from Moldova meet on the first Saturday of February to celebrate the “Graduates’ Day”. This is an opportunity to meet with graduates of different generations.
