It seems to be taken from an animated cartoon, but this place does exist. We are talking about the new playground for children inaugurated recently in Basarabeasca town by the Vlad Plahotniuc’s “Edelweiss” Foundation.
Being colourful and attractive the Edelweiss Park, which is provided with slides, swings and benches is the children’s favourite one: “When I come here I forget everything and dedicate my time to gaming”.
Parents are also excited about the new park especially since they wouldn’t have to make long way to the old playground anymore. “The park’s modern facilities provide safety and calmness to the parents that don’t have time to accompany children while they are playing”.
The “Edelweiss Parks” Campaign which was initiated by the Vlad Plahotniuc’s Foundation is carried out on the national level since August and is aimed to install 40 playgrounds in the most important towns of the Republic of Moldova.
