19 December 2016Starting December 23 the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra will hold three special winter concerts within the VII-th edition of the “Colinde, Colinde” (Carols, Carols) Festival. Like every year these concerts are organized with the support of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
Starting December 23 the Moldovan National Youth Orchestra will hold three special winter concerts within the VII-th edition of the “Colinde, Colinde” (Carols, Carols) Festival. Like every year these concerts are organized with the support of the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss”.
The first concert will take place on December 23 at the National Philharmonic in Chisinau and will be conducted by Andriano Marian as fusion of music genres like Jazz, Soul, Rock, Pop, House, Hip-Hop and Arab Music.
The second concert of the “Colinde, Colinde” Festival combines in a special manner winter holidays specific songs with instrumental and choral music. It will take place on December 24 in the Organ Hall in Chisinau.
The last concert within the series of the Christmas concerts will take place on December 28 also in the Organ Hall. This time 10 young cellists from Moldova and Romania will present for the first time a music scene encompassing 10 works with a chronological sequence of more than 350 years.
