In addition to our sincere greetings and good wishes we have visited them with gifts and together with the centre’s team we have organized a special artistic program.
“This is the gift I received; I am very happy that they paid attention to us and have not forgotten the elderly. It’s soft, it’s warm, if there is a winter, there is no need for fire, it’s good, here’s how hot it is. God bless those who troubles for old people’s sake, let them reach my age”, said Vera Munteanu, an old lady who visits the Centre for 10 years to spend her free time.
The response of the old people was appropriate, and the joy we saw on their faces was the most beautiful reward.

“I want to thank all those who came here and supported us taking part in this beautiful celebration, and especially to the “Edelweiss” Foundation led by Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc. Whenever we needed something, we addressed to them, we called them and they always were responsive and brought us what we needed”, said Aurelia Artene the Centre’s Director.
The event was also attended by representatives of the local authorities. The District Chairman Ghenadie Verdes and the Mayor of Nisporeni town Grigore Robu congratulated the old people from the “Încredere” Centre.
“For the third year in a row we have been supporting our older generation, our spiritual parents. I express congratulations and thanks to all the representatives of the senior generation”, said the Mayor.
“We are glad that the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” supported us and came with gifts for... I do not want to call them elderly people, because they are people who still have strength, but need our support as well. And we as the young generation who are to reach this beautiful age will try to do our best to make their lives easier”, said Ghenadie Verdes.
The leader of the PDM Territorial Organization in Nisporeni Vasile Bitca also attended our party. “We have many projects in Nisporeni to which we give life together with the “Edelweiss” Foundation, together with Mr. Vlad Plahotniuc, who is from here, from Nisporeni, and has never forgotten where he started from”.
The Edelweiss Foundation Project Manager Dorina Postu was responsible for the proper conduct of the event. “On the Day of Older Persons we want to render our blessings and wish them many peaceful years. Centre for Rehabilitation and Social Integration “Încredere” was founded in 2007. Annually, more than 200 elderly people from the Nisporeni town benefit from the Centre’s support services.
