Surprises from Edelweiss foundation for Cojocari family
24 May 2019In the Edelweiss team, we always try to help when we hear about cases of life where people are less fortunate. One of these is the Cojocari family in the village Neculaieuca, in Orhei.
In the Edelweiss team, we always try to help when we hear about cases of life where people are less fortunate. One of these is the Cojocari family in the village Neculaieuca, in Orhei.
Seven years ago, the little boy Ilies was three years old and has remained without the mother's protection, who left for Russia. Impressed by the situation of the child, Mrs. Claudia Cojocari has taken care of him, and since then she is a loving mother who wants to fulfill all his desires and to see him happy.
So, one day, she decided to write to the Foundation and tell us her life story and the fact that the little boy wishes a bicycle very much.
The Edelweiss team visited them and so we found out that the boy has no news from his biological mother for over a year. Mrs. Cojocari also confessed that Ilies is a particularly good and well-behaved child.
"We understand very well. He is an unspoiled boy and learns well. He’s jumping into my arms and tells me: Mommy I love you."
We wanted to make a joy to the little boy and we gave him the bicycle he wanted so much. He was very surprised when he saw it and immediately wanted
to try it. Although at first he had little emotions not to fall, he quickly became accustomed to it and told us how much he likes the gift.
As a sign of appreciation for the whole care to the boy, we brought a gift for Mrs. Cojocari also in order to ease her household work - a washing machine.
"Thank you very much. For us a washing machine means a lot. I wanted it all my life. Only now when I am 55 years old, at my jubilee, this dream came true.", Claudia Cojocari said.
