The winter holidays will be full of entertainment events for two hundred children from Tigheci village, Leova district. That’s because a new modern playground was inaugurated there, near the Community Centre and several residential houses. The park was installed within the “Edelweiss Parks” project, through which the Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” has built so far 45 playgrounds.

The new slides and swings have made the children of the village, as well as their parents happy. They are glad that their little ones will have a safer place to play.
“We thank the Edelweiss Foundation for this great contribution to our community. It came as a gift before the winter holidays and as you see the joy of the children is boundless”, said a mother who came at park opening.

In gratitude the little ones recited poems and sang songs, and in the end they were rewarded with sweets by the Edelweiss team.
“You caused us a lot of emotions. The Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” has installed this playground specially for you and we are very happy that you like it. God bless you”, said Lidia Cucos, the Executive Director of the Foundation.

Positive emotions were experienced also by the representatives of the local public administration, who spoke and thanked for the beautiful place where children will now spend their free time.
“We are very pleased for founding support at the Edelweiss Foundation. Most of all I am pleased by the fact that we saw smiles on the faces of children and parents”, said Angela Cretu, mayor of the Tigheci village.

The Foundation of Vlad Plahotniuc “Edelweiss” is currently implementing several social projects that focus on the care of children and their harmonious development. These include “House Full of Christmas” and “A New Life” campaigns.
